The antibiotic property of OM-X against H.pylori was tested using a paper-disc method. As a result, the growth-inhibitory zone (halo) which shows the inhibition of the proliferation of H.pylori was observed. It showed that OM-X has an antibacterial activity against H.pylori.

We conducted a study to test an antibacterial activity of the fermented vegetable extract OM-X against S. aureus and S. epidermidis. The results show that OM-X extract can inhibit only the growth of S. aureus not S. epidermidis.
